IFC rush is more informal than sorority recruitment. Chapters host their own events — house tours, sports, cookouts, game nights — over the first few weeks of the semester. You show up, meet brothers, and if there's mutual interest, you'll receive a bid. No formal schedule or quotas like sorority recruitment.

Rush events are casual and conversational. Brothers want to see who you genuinely are. Show up on time, introduce yourself, ask questions about the chapter's values and brotherhood. Talk to multiple brothers — not just one. The more events you attend, the stronger your chances.
